Step 1 of 4Credentialed status on Pantheon is reserved for verified experts, journalists, academics, and industry professionals. It is a public recognition of your critical authority within your field.
What it changes: Your votes carry significantly more weight in the Credentialed Score for any list in your area of expertise. Your profile receives the gold Credentialed badge, and your arguments are prioritized in the default sort order.
What it doesn't change: You still have one vote per list. Credentialing recognizes expertise. It does not manufacture it.

- Academic researchers in relevant fields
- Industry professionals (10+ years)
- Established cultural critics
